Got my ILR but no news on wife's FLR(M)

Post by adamboston » Fri Oct 28, 2011 6:00 pm

Hello

On 18th July this year I and my wife applied for ILR (10 years Long Residency) and Spouse visa FLR(M) respectively. We applied together, on the same day, because our visas were expiring on the same day i.e. 31.07.11.

Couple of days ago I received my passport back stamped with ILR along with other documents but we have not heard anything from FLR(M). My ILR was stamped on 3rd October.

My wife registered her biometrics in last week of July at the local post office and ever since no news on my wife's spouse visa application.

Can someone please advise whether or not I should send my passport to FLR(M) section as in the covering letter we requested Home Office (UKBA) to consider my ILR application first before they look into my wife's FLR(M). We also stated, in the letter, that once we have the outcome of my ILR application we would then contact UKBA to give this information. Today I tried to ring the public enquiry line but had no joy as it's just the automated service means you can't speak with anyone.

Thanks for your advice and time.
Adam

If you said you would then you should. Also, the FLR(M) form states this as a requirement.

Thank you very much Sushdmehta, I shall send my passport to flrm section on Monday as there's no point ringing UKBA general enquiry line. Bless.
