Young Professionals for Employment

Post by DevelopmentDavid » Tue Nov 22, 2011 7:36 pm

I am a recent graduate of M.B.A. and M.S.- Economic Development degrees with brief development experience and a year of international volunteer experience. The vast majority of job and networking sites seek "skilled labor" or senior executives for positions in the UK, but what are the best methods for a young professional from the above background to seek employment and work permit in the UK?

Internships seem like a more viable method. Teaching English in central Europe may also do the trick if you would like to teach for a stint. But, I am curious if I can find something more permanent as I have learned that employers screen non-EU citizens first in the process. Websites, companies, networking platforms, new methods of acquiring a visa will all be useful. I'll even accept job offers.

Thank you,
