Hi, i applied for student visa from psw visa, on 2nd july 2011, biometric done 26th july 2011 and never heard anything from ukba again. I applied for acca+mba top with lsbf. Pls is anyone in such as situation? What can I do pls advise.

1. Get in touch with UKBA and inquire about it.
2. Ask u institution as well.

I applied for my extension on 18th may 2011, had my bio metrics on 6th july.. no reply yet.

I have a question.

My employer needs a letter from home office but she is saying she needs a upto date letter. the previous acknowledgement letter is date 20th may and its more than 6 months now. So, is this possible to get a new letter from home office?

Tried to get in touch with ukba no respond as usual. Is there anyone how has been through this? What did they do other than ring them? Thanks

sent them a letter which one of the representative advised me to do when I rang them.

Had a similar situation last year. Didn't get any news about my application for 7 months and contacting the home office was useless. Try asking your institution to contact them, I think that's the best way.
