ILR Set (O) Expedite request for family illness

HO acknowledged receipt of my Set (O) postal application on 17th November 2011, I was on WP + HSMP Tier 1 (plus dependant infant born in UK). Checked and posted by immigration lawyers who quoted ave processing times of 6 weeks, past that now. My grandmother has taken ill suddenly and I need my application approved ASAP to fly to Aus. HO have asked me to fax in a request with supporting medical evidence. Hospital in Aus needs to prepare letter this evening, any advice what it should contain? Speed is important & I don't want HO coming back for more information. Any advice would be appreciated. Very upset & anxious to fly ASAP.
