Hi i am in really bad situation my leave is expiring in 3 days i have submitted my dissertaion(msc) to college 16th of jan 2012 and ask them to issue me a cas letter than i apply for my extension because according to my enrolment letter my course finish date is 31st may 2012 but college is not issueing me a cas letter they are saying ur couse is finish my result is coming mid march and i want to apply for PSW. but i dunno what to do now what kind of application i have to made i can't pay 2 0r 3 grands for a new course just to get cas letter. help me please.

If your course is finished then your tier 4 sponsor can't issue you a Cas. Not sure how you will get an unconditional offer and Cas from another sponsor in 3 days. You can apply for psw from your home country but you will need £2800 in maintenance for 90 days instead of £800

Thanks for you reply i can't go back and apply from there some one said to me to apply FLRO and than when u get ur result withdraw ur application and than apply for psw and than some one said u cant apply for psw if u made FLRO application so confused.

The only way to stay is another Teir-4 visa on new course.

As much as you ask these things to ‘friends’ and colleagues’, you will get different opinions. Some of them may suggest you overstay until you get your degree or even some will say to apply for British nationality or Asylum to get time until you can make PSW application. But all those tricks are old fashioned now and UKBA is well aware of these illusions and you can’t fool them.

These are immigration matters and so sensitive now a days. If you try to manipulate your visa with baseless applications and on the reason you are not eligible for, you are actually providing an opportunity to UKBA to put you in bad/suspect list forever. Stay without visa will make you an 'overstayer' which will damage your all immigration history/credibility for ever which will make you unable to stay or apply for any UK visa in future as well as other English or EU countries visas.

So, my suggession is, extend your visa within the applicable rules and regulation or leave UK when your visa finish. You can apply for PSW from your home country or you can also make visit visa applications even you can make another Tier-4 application immediately. Spending 2/3 grands for a new course is not a bad idea coz if you go for other options and need immigration lawyer in future (which is probable of course) you will be spending 4 times more.

1. Technically u course is finished early and u institution is following the correct procedures.
2. U wud not be issued with a CAS now but i do not understand that applicants are always given extra time after the finish date of the course for graduation and time for leaving the UK so how come u r submitting u dissertation just 3 days before u visa expiry date?
3. U need either to get enrolled on a new course (unlikely as u visa is expiring in 3 days) or go bak home and apply from u country.
4. U do not have any other option.
