No acknowledgment of receipt!

Hi All,

I sent my application on the 9th of January 2012. The payment has gone through my credit card but as date, I have not rceived any letter from Home Office that they have my application.

Is this usual?
Can I call them? if yes on what number please?

It could be on the way(might take up to 4-6 weeks), given that it is already the 3rd week there might be a possibility that you get the Acknowledgement and Biometric letter at the same time.

They don't entertain enquiry calls within the first 6 months of application.

Thank you. Would you know what could be a possible reason why some of those who sent it after me has received an acknowledgment and I have not?

No clue ... maybe your case worker is spending more time in the pub rather than on your application.

Jokes apart, they post all communication through second class post so you never know it might just make its way through soon....

Hi,

As long as the payment has been taken, then just relax and wait for the acknowledgment letter as I am sure it will be with you shortly.

There is no need worrying about something you have no control over

I received an e-mail that i should book my biometric date!!! Still no letter though
