Second Proof of Address for dependant

Post by Phoenix28 » Tue Feb 14, 2012 11:17 am

I am going for ILR appointment next week and I understand I need to provide two proofs of address for my wife for the past two years.

She just has one full proof which is her Bank statements for the past 24 months and council tax letter for 18 months, her name was not included in the council tax before that.

What else can be provided as her proof of address? Will they accept any of the following?

1)Bank statements from a different bank

2)Lloyds TSB credit card statement

3)Her payslips with home address mentioned in it

4)GP Letter stating she has been registered with the GP in this address for 2 years?

5)copy of Electoral register from the council

I tried searching the forum for post relating this and couldn't find, hence posting this , please help.

All five types of documents you have mentioned are valid and can be use for the purpose of cohabitation.

I have even seen people using any junk mail which had their names on it (if they didn’t have enough documents, but in your case, you can use all of the ones you have said).
