URGENT -- Driving Conviction

Post by fahim79 » Tue Sep 30, 2008 8:24 am

When i was in UK I was charged of driving without accordence with my driving license and got a ticket of 200 pounds. I

taken this in the court, but court did replied me till more then 8 months. But I had to leave UK because my leave expired.

Do you think I should mention this in my entry clearnce application.

My issue is that my conviction is never been convictied(so i don't have any rehabiliation period and i have clean driving

license) as when i was in UK i never got any court reply. I have heard if its more then 6 months its invalidated (that

mean I am not waiting for any court hearing now).

If I do mention it does it will effect my application. and If I decide to disclose it how should i disclose it(In pervious

convictions or waiting for court hearing).

You better declare it...who know what happened after you left the country...Explain in detailed...they will not stop your visa because of this ...but if you dont declare and if they trace then you will be in trouble...

you can search this forum where you will find some post ...some body did not declare the convicion and got rejected...

Pesonally i also got 60 pounds fixed penalty fine for not accordance to license....i declared it in my recent extension....and got approved..
