Received all our documents back and visa granted 30/09/2015
Very happy all that stress has now gone !
Thank you so much for all the help these forums provide.
Kind regards,

Is it likely to delay/jeopardise my application if I put in a request to have my passport (and my wife's passport) returned, so that we can apply for visas (not UK) for upcoming trips?
radiogaga wrote:Thanks for the advice babymama. My current visa (tier 4) is actually valid for quite a while still - this application however was to switch to a spouse visa. So hopefully withdrawing my application won't make me an over-stayer.
However...both my wife and I need to travel regularly and it's quite crippling having to cancel our trips/not be able to plan future trips just because of the lack of information from the Home Office. The most I've been able to find out is that they are only prepared to discuss my application after 8 weeks have passed, but there is no guarantee of course that it will have been considered within those 8 weeks...hence I'm wondering about the timelines of other forum members who had premium appointments with further document requests. If it's likely to be more like 6 months, rather than 8 weeks, I think I'll have to withdraw my application

Gorgeous girl did you have to sign for your documents, was your passport included in those documents? Who did they use as the courier for the documents?
Interesting so it looks like you would have received your brp before your docs had you been home, looking through the thread it looks like most people get the docs a few days before the brp, maybe the trend is changing. Maybe we will get our docs tomorrowgorgeous_girl wrote: Hi eksbee, I should have received my brp on Tuesday. It was sent through DX and since I was not at home I have to rearrange the delivery.
Approval letter and all documents was sent through Royal Mail and it needs signature.
