This can only mean, you will get an approval soon. You've already done your biometric and if they are too loaded, yours may be considered by another team in Sheffield. You had a privilege to know this because your MP asked. I think you should get an approval before end of November. Be very positive!IM12345 wrote:Hi I applied on 12th may, biometrics done on 16th June and waiting since then. I contacted my MP yesterday and they contacted home office. Home office told them that even my application is within 6 months service standard it is very likely that it won't get decided within 6 month. They said that it may take another 6 months before they can reach a decision. Very disappointed
For me I had a very simple case. No immigration problems in the past. No criminal or driving convictions. I have always been employed so no issue with the tax thing. Also another thing which I found strange was that I was told that my application is being sent to naturalisation team in Sheffield who will give a decision on my application whenever it is practically possible. I thaught all naturalisation cases are dealt in Liverpool. Any thoughts on that?
it was told to me i have to wait until the end of the month in which your 6 months is ending. so according to what they told me you have to wait till the end of November.mona12 wrote:Already reached the 6 months service deadline today. When I called Home Office, I am told that it's only today that 6 months standard has reached (applied on 5th May) and should wait for another week and then call if I don't hear anything. I just don't understand what do they mean by 6 months Service Standard then!!

Got all my documents back today together with the approval letter. The letter says that I should wait (two weeks) for the local council to send me an invitation to attend the ceremony. Happy days!! My case took 5 months. I was a straight forward case, fulfilling all the requirements but still took 5 months. Hang on in there guys, it will come!manu44 wrote:manu44 wrote:Eligibility criteria:20 Years ILR, Spouse BC
