1) Hold an EEA passport (both of us)
2) Proof of address
3) Be a resident for at least 7 days close to the register office
4) Apply to get married for at least 28 days before the marriage takes place
So really thats all? No witnesses required?

I thought the notice period is only normally extended for foreign nationals from outside the EEA (or of course if they suspect a sham marriage)?!Be prepared for the notification period to be extended to 70 days as you are foreign nationals.
