Apparently it take one year !!Blinxy wrote:Hi all !
7 months later no news from the tribunal. I decided to call the number and the case worker told me that it can take up to 12 months before having a hearing date or the hearing date Will be 12 months after the month you first filled your appeal. Meaning that my hearing date might be in August 2016.... So I Will not get my resident card until/around January 2017!
Did someone filled his appeal around march 2015 and got any updates to give us?
Info regarding right to Work :
For those who were granted the right to Work with their COA just so you know you STILL have the right to Work. You need to ask for a New COA every 6 months. I asked for mine and it came 3 days after my request.

I am currently in touch with someone who appealed on April 2015 ... He received a letter On january 2016 confirming that his hearing date is in april 2016...
But if you have any serious reason you believe you need to get your appeal date sooner then you must contact HM Courts and Tribunal Services ....
Thanks alex1128alex1128 wrote:Well done Nora !!
Congratulations, you must have booked your holiday tickets already
Could you be a bit more specific about why you were refused amd what was said in those letters in more detail

Congratulations!!! Ready for holidays or some weekends back in France So happy for you !
I should have requested appeal by paper only as well, the wait for hearing date just last forever, I still have no news and my husband might change his job soon again ! And may be Brexit will happen as well... Don't know what to to ...
Anyway, did they informed you all the details like checking with your husband's employer etc.?

They didn't check. What the judge did was looking at the documents we send back for the hearing (all new contracts, invoices because he's a self employed IT consultant, bank records, contact details from the actual employer, details of the accountant etc). At that point in January the judge said that he was happy with my husband situation as he was working and established in the UK.He said that he was satisfied with all docs we provided.
BUT since:
My husband wrote on my behalf on march , asking the judge to consider new evidences, he send his contract extension, contact details of his actual manager and told the judge that he might not be needed but he doesn't want them to think that he's not working at all or stopped working.
The judge said that he was really happy that we did that and he had to consider those new evidence. He was more confident about my husband work situation and therefore he allowed the appeal.
My only concern at this point is that the HO has 4 weeks to challenge the decision and after that 12 weeks to deliver the RC. We ask in the march letter to get the RC if the appeal is allowed before September because I am expecting and we wanted to go to France and see our families. The judge took note of that on the decision but I am not sure that the HO will take that into account....
So I will wait 1 month I think and write a complaint maybe by email to ask for my passport and RC back ASAP so I can go in France and enjoy my summer holiday.
I will keep you posted. Let me know about your timeline as well I really hope you'll hear from them soon!

Hi,yazz it's been a while since you last updated.I was wondering whether you got your hearing date after.this waiting is mental tortureyazz wrote:9 months still no news for hearing date , how many more months or may be years for the appeal date to be listed ???
After reading the timeline from start the hearing date generally comes( when it's an oral hearing) around 1 year after you lodged the appeal so I think you'll get a date before the 11/11/2016.... However I don't know if their is any changes since 2014, beginning of 2015......kafrica wrote:Hi,i lodged my appeal for an oral hearing on the 11/11/2015 and am still waiting for my hearing date.I was wondering if there's any1 with the same timescale plz
@Blinxy:thanx for responding to my post and congrats on appeal decision.I take it,it's more quicker on paper than Oral then.I hope it won't take this long endless waiting in future as they are planning to rocket the appeal fees.Blinxy wrote:After reading the timeline from start the hearing date generally comes( when it's an oral hearing) around 1 year after you lodged the appeal so I think you'll get a date before the 11/11/2016.... A lot of people here are in the same case but don't come back to update their situation and it's a bit annoying...
I really hope that you'll get a hearing date soon. I heard about the prices going from 80£ to 490£ and more but the thing is I got my 80£ refunded last week so I really hope that even if they do increase the price it will be refunded.... not in every case I think but in most of them!!!!kafrica wrote:@Blinxy:thanx for responding to my post and congrats on appeal decision.I take it,it's more quicker on paper than Oral then.I hope it won't take this long endless waiting in future as they are planning to rocket the appeal fees.Blinxy wrote:After reading the timeline from start the hearing date generally comes( when it's an oral hearing) around 1 year after you lodged the appeal so I think you'll get a date before the 11/11/2016....
