I am applying for my wife's naturalisation. She was a Tier 1 General dependant and then got her ILR. I have British citizenship.
She got her ILR back in 2012, but only decided to naturalise only now. I remember she did her IELTS English Language test as a requirement for Tier 1 dependant. She then took Life In Uk test for ILR.
While applying for naturalisation, I can give the Life in the UK test details, but the English language test (which is valid for 2 years), can only be used if it was used for ILR. I recollect giving that for Tier 1 General but not sure if I gave it for ILR. Does she need to re-take her English language test?
When I called up Home Office they said she needs to re-take the english test. I have had other occasions where the Home Office call centre was wrong. But does she need to re-take the English language test if she has already taken for Tier 1 General (but not for ILR).
