Hello Tayyabilal.,tayyabbilal wrote:Email sent have to wait to 2weeks now can anyone how to write pre action letter for jr on this issue ? Or any letter to send home office so they start taking it seriously.
On the COA it clearly states "We expect to decide applications for a RC, PR or DRC within six months from the date of application."Ekaterinas2016 wrote:Hello,

Me and my spouce we both applying for PR in one application based on his continuous employement through the last 5 years (actually more). We have two kids born in the UK in the last 5 years who are british citizens already
Application sent: 04-Oct-2016
Payment taken: 07-Oct-2016
Biometrics letter arrived and biometrics submitted: 17-Oct-2016 (didn't come through by whatever reason)
Second biometrics letter arrived and biometrics submitted repeatedly: 23-Oct-2016
CoA received: 29-Oct-2016
PR:?
Do they count 6 months from the day of the payment taken? Or from the date of CoA?
I'm starting to count days

To those non-EEA Spouses, have you traveled outside of the UK during the time that the PR was being processed? Did you have any trouble getting back into the UK? I just sent my application in last week, and am a bit worried about being 'stuck' here all summer.

It arrived in exactly 6 months.
Here is my timeline:
Application sent: 23/09/2016
Home Office received on 26/09/2016
Payment taken on 28/09/2016
Email Confirmation: 10/10/2016
Biometric Letter Received: 12/10/2016
Biometric Sent on: 13/10/2016
COA (received on 22/10) 19/10/2016
Passport Requested Back 07/03/2017
PR received on 23/03/2017
Since my spouse didn’t register with the WRS, we only sent documents covering the 5 years starting from June 2011 to 2016, but for our surprise, Home office started counting the 5 years from 2009, regardless of the WRS document.
My spouse biometric card didn’t arrive yet as it will be sent separately and should arrive anytime soon.
I requested the documents back online, but it never arrived by itself. It arrived with the rest of the documents and the PR itself.zubby007 wrote:dontaskme wrote:Applied as an EEA national qualified by working, with non EEA spouse.

Hi, did you request your EEA passport via online or you sent them a letter?

(My EEA husband'a card arrived and mine non EEA card will arrive in 10 working days). It took 5 months 20 days from the date of payment taken for our joint EEA/non-EEA applicationI was happy to see that they state in the letter that my permanent residence status started from the date I entered the UK+5 years (not from the expiration date of 5-years residence documentation). So I assume that I can apply for citizenship in 6 months (12 months since permanent residence status started)
