Hello everyone, i submitted my application for British Naturalisation via NCS Camden on the 13th of June, which was received on the 14th of June, receive acknwoledgement email on the 21st June and did biometrics on the 26th June, however, i checked my online status and it says awaiting decision, Application status updated on 21 June 2017. Your application has been considered and is awaiting a decision. Was just wondering if they have already come to a decision already?

I also submitted my application on the 13th of June through NCS. Acknowledgment email was recieven on 22nd June with biometrics letter. Biometrics were done on 26th June. As 'Chyke82' has mentioned here above. My online status is currently 'Awaiting decision' and was updated on 22nd June, although it only showed online from the 4th July.

Does anyone know how long it on average takes to complete the application when the application is in the status 'Awaiting decision'?

Hello all

Somebody (RUK44) who applied on 27th March , I repeat 27th March- got a decided status for BC application. Saw post in the March timeline.
How lucky is that . I applied on 22nd March and the status on the website has been Awaiting Decision since 25th may

I am sure all who applied mid march are waiting as well.

I wonder that the criteria is for deciding the applications?

Hi all,
My approval letter date is 21st june and its over 2 weeks now i have not received any ceremony invitation letter yet. As approval letter said u should receive it within 2 weeks. I have emailed citizenship.support@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk but no response from them. I have called councils and they said you need to have ceremony invitation letter first from home office.
I have no idea what to do!
Is anybody having the same situation.

I sent email to UKVI for an update as I need to travel. They confirmed my application is not with case worker yet and still in the que. I applied on 30th March.

On average, how long it takes to get the letter from HO?

They are quite slow. They send it using sec class delivery. Give it 10 days mate of your decision date.

OK. I figured it out. I was using "Our ref" number from HO letter. Surprisingly that number was same as the "Our ref" number from HO for spouse's naturalisation application applied and decided one year ago (2016). I didn't know that HO maintains the same reference number for both husband and wife eventhough they apply for naturalisation with one year gap

Anyways, when I used "case reference number" (without preceding zero) to check the status, it is still "Awaiting Decision updated on 25/05/17".

Applied 6 March, someone who applied same day as me had their ceremony yesterday. Requested passports back on Monday and got them today (UKVI have lost a lot of applicants' passports). Still waiting for a decision.

I am still trying to figure out why most of the people here wondering why other people got their approval before them or even trying to do the maths for every single week/month/year? NO maths when it comes to the HO!! Do we have the same history for the last 10 years, obviously not! Even if we do, the HO likes to take their time and do it their way, like (still checking, short of staff, ect) we are all aware that it takes up to 6 months or even more and we have all signed for that! Correct? So the more you panic the more you get stressed about it, as well as stressing other people in this forum, let's stick to what's written in the thread's tittle "Check the status of your application online - New service" simple is that, do you have a status if yes then update it so we can all share!
