UPDATE:

I have received an email on Friday from Shefo asking for a TB Certificate.

Although I am sure I Don't need one since I live in a country that doesn't require one, I'll do the test anyway Tomorrow.

Also, my university has informed me that there are significant delays in the UKVI at the moment, but they have already used my CAS number.

Like you, I also received email on 17th about sending scanned TB Test. I am sure I had it given to the VFS staff. He might have missed scanning it. But anyways I had a scanned copy of of it with me already and emailed Sheffo staff within 20 minutes at the designated email address.

Since then, I have not heard anything from their side. But asking for TB Test card shows that they have bothered checking the documents at least :)

I hope most of us will hear updates after the Eid holidays,

Hi everyone
Reading all these comments making me even more nervous. Do people actually wait for 30days for a decision?

Here is my timeline
Visited Tls appointment: 7th Aug 17
Biometric taken : 7th of Aug 17
ECO assigned : 8th of Aug 17

I paid for priority service which usually takes 5days in Nigeria. Today makes it 9th working day. My uni resumes 29th of Aug but the latest enrollment date is the 15th of September.

Should I start feeling worried or inform my uni about the state of my application ?
I am switching from tier1 graduate ent to tier 4
Hey, have you received any news?

I also paid for priority service from Indonesia and yes, they said it takes normally up to 5 working days. But it's already 17 working days and the online tracker shows my application is still OPEN. :( Does anyone with priority service wait for longer time?

My case:
Online Application: 25th July
Biometrics: 2nd August
ECO assigned: 2nd August
Course Start date: 14th September

I tried to email UKVI on 23rd August, they replied me on 24th asking my application details for escalation. I replied on the same day but don't hear any news from them again. Now, I'm super worried!!!! :x

no they wont reply back...I emailed like dozen times but they didn't reply...
so I used paid service email which we have to send through site...unfortunately my payment failed but they received my email and replied me next day....same thing they said well escalate ur case to the relevant department...I think they are just notifying the centre where they are taking decision..since they receive thousands ..they don consider everything...they are making money thts it

I made an application for the priority visa in 10th August, biometrics and appointment in 16th August. I'am still waiting for my visa they told it will take 5 business days but im waiting for 10 business days. I have a flight in 6th september and my uni starts in 11th september. we have holiday 30th August-4th September so I must take my visa tomorrow or in 5th of September. I looked for the flight tickets and all finished 9th and 10th September. Yeah they told us not to buy flight tickets but I bought before because I know that it will finish. My family applied to visitor visa 1 week later then me and they got their visa in 4 business days. I'am so angry because i wasted my money for nothing really nothing. Also I will spend a lot of money for flight tickets (idk how I can find them at the moment).

No..I believe they genuinely don't reply to follow up emails so that we call them and they can take more money from us.I am not going to waste money by calling them. Goodluck to you

I got my visa back today just 10 hours prior my flight. It has been 2 weeks of sleepness night. Now I can finally chill and set my mind at peace. I rather paid for priority than to deal with this anxiety. So anyone who are wishing to apply and is a bit of worrier like me, please apply for priority. (although they can also take long) You know you have done everything you could possibly can and you don't need to beat yrself up for not choosing priority like what I have been doing these 2 weeks.

I wish i will never need to apply for visa again in the future!

It is only just 1 day over the 30 days.

Your university can advise on any extension to the last day for enrolling, but they cannot speed up your visa application.
I have no problem with enrollment as my course will start on September 11th, but I’m just stressing out over the lateness of the visa. I understand that they cannot speed up the application but I was adviced to let them know about the delay.
Now days it is taking time to process applications.Few of them gets processed fast so relax.
I applied on 17 July nd no reply.

When did u applied.i applied on 17 July nd still waiting
