Hi Everyone

Thought to give the aspirants a heads up..My UK naturalisation application was decided on 23rd Oct, Status has been changed an hour ago I believe. I have applied for myself and Indian born Kid on 16th June 2017.

Now cant wait long for the post.... Thanks everyone for their helpful posts and updates.

No there isn't. Although you can phone HMPO with your passport application reference number and they will advise you.

Finally status changed to Decide today showing 24 October as decision date. I applied on 23/05/2017 through NCS. fingers crossed..

not sure in your case but let's say if someone else has used the Check & Send service/or applied by post that time the below link could be useful..

Today I called HMPO and provided my passport tracking number given by NCS at the time of application. Lady over the phone confirmed that my application last updated on 25/10 as ceremony approved so sent to examination department which seems that my application was successful but still to wait for approval letter.

Correct, but end of the end it is still a beta service, so it is really hard to tell if it is better or worse! Also the missing date on the form as you call it is just misleading the people and it looks like stopped progressing till the day it shows up again as "Decided"

I feel for you. It’s disgusting you’ve gone over 6 months with no better explanation than that. Get your local MP involved

Guys anyone else waiting from May. I applied 24th May. HO has become so incompetent ,it beggars belief. And then they lie with such impunity that they process application in receipt order. Not sure what to expect and when will this miserable situation end.

It seems strange that they request Passports, it's like they are undermining the NCS trained staff to check and photocopy evidence.

Decided online on the 16th October (appeared 18th)
Received approval +ceremony invite joint letter today 27th October
