I am going to the MP next week to shoot off an email next week to HO. I am wondering how long it will take for the HO to respond?

Well I submitted my Application in January it’s been 206 days today. Still no decision?!!

I’ve contacted my MP & she said there’s nothing she can do now, because they sent me a email on the 30th October- busiest periods, need more time etc bullshit!! So she said to wait now

I did email the UKVI yesterday and this is the reply I got-

I spent hundreds of hours and thousands of pounds calling UKVI call centre every week since June as well as chasing MP but in all honesty none of them did and could of done anything.

My decision was made according to God's will and having faith in the risen God Jesus Christ.

I was one of the oldest applicants waiting here having applied last December 2016.

My total wait was:

216 working days (308 calendar days).

This was one of the hardest things to bear but God never left my side and was always with me and my wife.

Have faith in the risen Lord as there is power in the name of Jesus Christ.

I hope you all get your decisions soon.

I applied for UKVI settlement in July 2017 and a decision was made on the 25th of Sept till now I have not gotten my passport and do not know the decision. It is one month and a week now.
On the 27th of Oct I got an email to pay IHS for my dependent because of a bug from website. I paid the same day. Since a decision has been made and IHS paid. How long do i have to wait again to receive my decision and passport?

Hi guys there is God, I made contact yesterday with the lady in VFS and asked for help. She did made contact with some one who made contact with some one in home office and they confirmed my payment. As God will have the home office contact said they will post my decision. This morning I received the tracking for my decision. Waiting patiently and hope to God I was granted. So will post when I get it , hope tomorrow.

I was waiting since may 8th from Turkey without priority. I never received any information or smt till 31st of october email that almost all of us received. i never believed they will keep their word tbh.
And this morning i have received this email

UK Visas & Immigration has now assessed your UK visa application and made a decision. Your documents and

the decision will be sent back to either the UK Visa Application Centre where you applied, where we will

contact you by email over the next few days to collect them, or if you are using the courier return service, will

be sent directly back to the address you provided.

An update:

Applied 15th Feb 2017, saving route only - Sheffield
Case not straightforward May
Sent 1 email in August got generic response. Never called.
After 6 months...
Sent email to MP who got said he was waiting for a response from UKVI...nothing came back
Got 31st October email.
20th October received email fro UKVI Chennai (the documents had been sent to them from Sheffield)
They said we were missing documents regarding one account (stocks and shares not showing amount for previous 6 months. All i and sent them was the figure of amount for the date we applied)
Sent them new documents requested (to chennai)
1st november got decision made email
2nd November got message from VFS that are passport is with courier
3rd November received passport - VISA GRANTED.

It has been a long time to wait but the wait is at least over.
Hope those who are still waiting get positive news.

I did go to see my MP today, supplied all of our details. I have been told the MP will make an enquiry on our behalf and it can take 20 days for the HO to respond.

Still No Response.

MP chased the Home Office.
I logged a Complaint.
Application Submitted by a Lawyer.
Pretty strong case.
No financial concern.

Congrats We applied Priority in End Of August and still waiting. Even Worse Sheffield didn’t have any record of our priority payment! I emailed the receipt and still waiting

•I Called UKVI on 17/10/2017 to notify them of email correction and status update. The girl couldn't give me any information as they don't have access to it. Application still under process.
•I emailed them on 30/10/2017 for status update. They replied 31 10/2017 (morning) saying application still under process
• I received a direct email from the Gerry in Islamabad for passport collection 31/10/2017 (afternoon). This was a very weird email. It wasn't from the UKVI. It didn't have my husbands name or GWF reference number. The sender was "srisbvac" and at the end of email it said it was from Gerry Islamabad.
•01/11/2017 My husband called Islamabad and found that the passport had arrived. Later that day Islamabad Gerry called my husband twice to come and pick up the passport.
• My husband picked up his passport 02/11/2017 and Alhamdulilah Visa had been granted and was starting from the 6/11/2017

Please note. It took us 24 working days from Biometrics to picking up the Passport. Alhamdulilah we were lucky not to have waited so long. The UKVI didn't call the sponsor nor the employer. They didn't respond via email for receiving the documents or anything else. Totally silent not even a peep from them.

The call center is just a money making machine, their escalations are just to keep you hinged. We also involved the MP but no use at all.
My advice to everyone is to be patient and stop wasting money in calling them, they will decide your application when they feel like it that’s all. At least in my case, they stuck to their 31st October email.

Decision Made (As Per Covering Letter Issued By Home Office): 2nd November 2017, We didn’t get any letter. They responded to one of our inquiry.

I have contacted HO once by calling them in end of October and they said still in processing. Are you applied from Sri Lanka too? When did you do biometrics? I have done my Biometrics on 7th July 2017. Have you contacted HO?
