Still waiting for a decision.....

I applied in 5may 2017 and still waiting for decision and received an email last Tuesday case not straight forward and they hold my application longer then normal due extended checks after 6months they are awake and they don’t have no Idea what painful waiting is

Still didn’t get any news from HO called them many times they have nothing to say just said dnt know.. you have wait for your decision Is some one whos facing this kind of rubbish????i dnt know what to do I haven’t seen my husband since March plz help me give me some suggestions about it

ASSALAM U ALAIKUM..... visa granted Fainallyyyy today got phone called from Gerry’s they said come and collect your visa I was shocked but MashALLAH now the painful wait is over ALHUMDULILLAH MASHALLAH ...I wish everyone get their visa soon o pray all the time for every one ...validity visa 5 November to 5december

I see that a few of you have finally left us, congrats to everyone that has heard good news.

Just wondering out of all of the applicants that received an email stating that they'd hear by 31 October, how many of you actually heard back? We got an email the day before (the c**ts) stating that we're not actually going to find out now and that we still have to wait - just wondered if anyone got that too.

231 days since Biometrics and counting... (Biometrics were completed 21 March 2017)

Hoping that some of us still waiting will have some good fortune soon.

We make a lot more than what's required.

Have been asked to appeal in 28 days.

How much time does it take for one to get a revert post appeal?

Is it worth to reapply or appeal?

It will be kind of you if you could advise.

Thanks for the reply Kawal. We are thinking of reapplying given that appeal to decision takes 15 weeks to 6 months for family settlement visa.

Did you get an acknowledgement for your appeal and did they mention a timeline?

You are right and it does make sense. The email signature is also different VISAINFO.SHEFO@fco.gov.uk
This is from contact center and decision making center have completely different signature. But HO have to understand that we have only one way to contact them .
And they are useless.

Cuz i put in a wrong email on my application form and later corrected it when i found out by calling the contact center.
I was afraid that it wasnt enough and that sheffield will keep sending me emails on the wrong email address regarding missing documents or something like that but the guy that answered my call reassured me that all emails from sheffield go through them ( contact center) first and then they send them to us.
