have now traced about 200 applications (ref 2xxxxxx700 to 2xxxxxxx900) in which 3 are mine - applied 9-Jun-2017, receipt confirmation sent to me on 19-Jun-2017.

Update as of 13-Nov - 2 outstanding applications have been processed in one working day
96/125 are decided (76.8%)
29/125 are awaiting decision (23.2%)

Now, I had nothing else to do today so I increased the amount of tracked applications to 500 to increase accuracy - applications made around 9-Jun-2017, acknowledged around 19-Jun-2017.

219/500 are not recognised
208/281 are decided (74.0%)
72/281 are awaiting decision (25.6%)
1/281 is open! (0.4%)
2 applications have changed status from "awaiting decision" to "decided" over 1 working day.

210/281 are decided (74.7%)
70/281 are awaiting decision (24.9%)
1/281 is open (0.4%)

Now, is anyone's case reference number between 22331500 and 22331999 with still status "awaiting decision" or that sole "open" case that would like me to continue tracking this batch?
My case is one of these 2 turned to decided since yesterday so I have no personal interest anymore, but I'm offering help to others until I get my letters, ceremony and eventually passports or a job (hopefully all of these actually ;-)).
[/quote]

Yes please, just to see I am not alone, and huge well done to you on getting it decided in your case

Hi,

The status of my application (application date as 17/7) changed to Decided last Monday (6/11) but I still haven't received any post (been 7 working days). I am quite worried if it has been lost in the post as I assume 2nd class mail typically takes 2-3 days max. Any advice on how best to proceed - is there any point in calling the council to see if they have received any updates for my case or do I just wait and send HO an email in a few days?

Any of you experienced anything similar?

Many thanks!
It's not about how long the post takes. It's about how long they take to print the letter and put it in the post.

I'm not impressed taking into account the sum they get for the privilege.
Oh that's interesting, thought the status would be updated after they post it. The status is misleading - reads something on the lines of "The decision has been posted to you...". Anyway, thanks for the info - can now be a bit more relaxed!

I have applied through NCS on 26/06, letter with the date of approval that documents were received (with biometrics) was dated 03/07, money was taken also on 03/07, biometrics were done 11/07.
The status decided appeared on 9 of October online, but the positive approval letter from HO has just arrived today on 15 of November, approval letter from HO dated 7 of November. I am happy that I received the positive response finally, now I am waiting for the letter from my council so I can book the ceremony.

Mine got Decided today and it says "The decision has been posted to you. We cannot discuss this discussion online or by phone. If you don't receive your decision within 10 working days, you can phone us and we will look into this for you".
No date specified. Is this wording common? Anyone with a similar reply. Thanks!!

For some reason July applications are taking way longer than normal. They may be short staffed but if they have increased their staff, surely the focus should be on backlog cases

I have applied on 1st July. There is still no communication or response after biometric although they have called my referee.

I have tried to email them but you get a generic response and they don't give you any information. It is very frustrating but nothing can be done..

Any other july applicants ?

A few more July applications are getting approval now, we just have to wait, quite a few who applied after us have got approval but we are no too worried if we don't get it.

Hi - I got the exact same, yesterday too. My application was received 10th October.
Hoping to find out soon, being told it has been decided but not what the decision is is quite unbearable!
Will update people on here so they get an idea of timelines and online updates etc.
When did you apply? Thanks!

I am trying to understand if the online checker is actually working on not. Is the general feeling that it is not working as it previously did? We all know by now that it is not a real-time system but wonder if anyone has proof that it batch updates every day like it used to?
I don't think it's reliable. I got my approval letter yesterday (dated 7 Nov) and the website still says awaiting decision. I can't book my appointment yet as the HO letter hasn't reached the council yet

Update as of 10-Nov - 1 oustanding application has been processed in one working day.

94/125 are decided (75.2%)
31/125 are awaiting decison (24.8%)
Update as of 13-Nov - 2 outstanding applications have been processed in one working day
96/125 are decided (76.8%)
29/125 are awaiting decision (23.2%)

Now, I had nothing else to do today so I increased the amount of tracked applications to 500 to increase accuracy - applications made around 9-Jun-2017, acknowledged around 19-Jun-2017.

219/500 are not recognised
208/281 are decided (74.0%)

I don't think this online status is entirely reliable. I have my approval letter dated 7 November and the website hasn't updated my status

Guys, how many times do I have to repeat it?...

Yes, these statistics are certainly not 100% accurate. It serves purely as an indicator
of home office processing these fairly old applications from the range I was tracking and the online checker database being updated on daily basis.

swintooh (+ anyone else who may know) - Are you able to comment on whether updates happen once a day at a specific time or whether they can happen several times throughout the day?

hi aimu123,
I have a quick question for you please. when you sent your email, from which of them you receive your reply advising your doc has been printed?
I did email nationalityenquiries one but received an automated reply saying it won't receive any further confirmation if the application is under 6months. Did you receive the same before your confirmation about the doc? thanks
