I heard if one's case is relatively easy to decide, the decision usually takes about 3-5 weeks. This has nothing to do with if you will be granted or refused, but if they have enough information to either grant or reject. I have seen people rejected in 3 weeks and some granted after many months. So It depends on the nature and strength of your case and the attitude of the case worker handling the case.
I hope this helps you and others looking for a time frame.
My claim is for Asylum, yes my fiancé is British.Mohammad14 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 12, 2017 10:42 pmHi, I think that is a good sign, hopefully whithin 3 weeks you will be granting leave. I haven’t received anything yet after my interview. Is your claim regarding family life in uk or is it asylum claim? Isyour fiance from Eu ?

It's been 4 months since my Asylum interview and 6 weeks since I did my biometrics. I still have not heard anything from the home office. Hopefully after Christmas I will hear something. Did you hear anything from them ?
Great News! Now you can enjoy your life properly.
Hi Hopeful,Hopeful25 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 11, 2017 7:26 amHi Everyone,
Hoping someone can answer my question. I am an Iranian national and I had my asylum interview for my fresh claim on 14th September. I Feel the interview went really well and I am positive. Does anyone know how long I should wait for an answer ?
Any feedback is much appreciated.
Thank you
