Hey guys,
Online Application:4th July
Received documents @ Sheffield: 11th July
Dialed Sheffield and said that decision made: 27th July

But still no contact or decision mail from UKVI/TLS Contact. Any idea how much time would it take to receive my passport?
Hi,
Just be patient (even if it is not easy). A decision was made on my visa application on the 4th of July but it is only on the 9th of July that I got an SMS from VFS to pick up my passport, and that was even because I called UKVI earlier that day.

Hello everyone,

Date of application: 7 July 2018
Date of bio-metrics: 9 July 2018
Application received by Sheffield Decision Making Centre: 10 July 2018

They emailed me for TB certificate on 12th of July but I forgot to check my email and they emailed me again yesterday. The thing is I'm from Saudi Arabia and TB testing is not required. I think Home Office made a mistake.

I have contacted them and received no replies. I am very worried, I don't know what is going to happen. :(

Hi,
As you've rightly mentioned, TB testing is not a requirement for tier 4 visa, if you're applying from Saudi Arabia and are originally from there.
If emails haven't been responded to just yet, I'd say you give them a call to explain your situation.
All the best!

Hi everyone!
Just wanted to share my timeline:

Online application: 10th July
Biometrics (no interview, maybe because I´m a low risk national?): 18th July
Automated email: 25th July (mentioned that my application is currently being prepared for consideration by ECO)
And that would be all.
Called today to UKVI to check the status of my application even though there´s been less than 15 working days (a bit anxious I know :D ), and they told me that my application hasn´t been analyzed yet.
This waiting game is killing me haha, let´s hope is for the best!

cheers!

My timeline:

Application submission, biometrics and interview: 16 July 2018
Refusal: 27 July 2018

. Refused for not declaring previous visitor visa refusal

. Actually, due to a technical error in online application system I couldn't write YES for previous refusal to UK and previous travelling Questions in the application form, so on the day of my application submission I asked the staff at the centre, they told me to correct these answers with hand written correction. The visa staff member scanned the application form and all other documents.
. Also, during my admission process I supplied the previous visitor visa refusal letter to my university and they have on my records.
. Even the date for previous visitor visa refusal on current refusal letter is wrongly mentioned.

Applied for admin review: 03 August 2018
Acknowledgement email: 03 August 2018

I mentioned these reasons in my admin review and submitted the same scanned hand corrected page of the visa application form along with my email prints with the university about receiving previous visitor visa refusal letter.

I think the entry clearance officer has not checked my scanned documents.

Kindly, I want to know whether I have valid points and also want to know about AR processing time and steps afterwards.

Hello,
You can contact your Tier 4 sponsor (university) and tell them about the situation. They can contact UKVI on your behalf to tell them you don't need a TB test, plus it is easier for them to get in touch with UKVI

It is most probably likely that the clearance officer didn't check the printed form of the visa application form. When I was submitting my application, I was told at the visa application center that I shouldn't submit the printed form the visa application form because it wasn't necessary. So, it is likely that the clearance officer didn't pay much attention to it.
This said I think you have a strong chance for the AR to be successful.

Yes, I think the same.
Hopefully I will get a successful AR.
Also, I want to know as it was suggested by visa staff at visa centre that I should correct these answers with hand written corrections.
Is it acceptable to correct the online form with hand written changes?

Hello,
I have also made three mistakes in my online application and wasn’t able to correct them online. So I printed the application and when I went to the Visa Application Center in my appointment they told me to correct the mistakes by writing the corrected answer beside the wrong one and then sign my name beside the corrected answers so that they correct them in their online form before the application is submitted to the UKVI.But do not correct them at home , wait till they tell you to do so at your appointment.
Hope that helps!

Yes, they do not collect the hard copies but they scanned my application form including the page with hand corrections and I double checked with the visa staff, told me it is acceptable to make hand written changes on printed form
I think the ECO has not checked my scanned application form.

I think it will be better if you call them or email them to explain your issue.Obviously it’s their mistake not yours.
Hopefully everything will be fine for you bro. May Allah solve your problem inshaAllah.

My UKVI application timeline
Biometric + Interview : 12 July
Being prepared to be considered by ECO: 15 July
Email mentioned it has not been straightforward so they'll not be able to decide within time frame : 25 July
As for today it's 17th working day and according to uni they haven't used my CAS yet ....

Applied at VFS Islamabad.
Anyone else experiencing delay who applied in July ?

What would you suggest me except waiting 😑

Yes, I applied on the 15th/16th July . I got the mail from UKVI that my application has been received on the 20th . it's the 16th working day since then and there's nothing yet. I've tried calling to enquire abt my application this morning, but couldn't go further since I deactivated my debit card lol...I'll just wait

The priority service normally shouldn't take so long. And yeah, you have the right phone number. I'd suggest you keep trying until there's someone to pick ur call.

Any update, guys?
I just collected my passport a few hours ago and I got the visa!!!

My timeline:

STANDARD Application
-Online application: 19th June
-Biometrics + Interview: 22nd June
-VFS SMS stating my application has been transferred to UKVI: 22nd June
Since then no email/sms/calls from UKVI
-Was worried and called UKVI about my application and I was told a decision has already been made and the visa application centre would contact me soon: 9th July
-VFS SMS saying my passport is ready for collection: 9th July (2 hours after I called UKVI)

So I went to the visa application centre (I was late cause I overslept, smh) this morning and collected my passport with the visa sticker/vignette. The decision was made on the 4th of July.

It took 8 working days to make a decision on my application and an extra 3 working days for the passport to reach me

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE. UK here I come!

I am in a similar situation. I applied at the TLSContact center in Tel Aviv, and was expecting an interview. However, they just collected my documents and biometrics without any mention of an interview whatsoever. I applied priority, and they told me that I would hopefully have a decision within 5-10 working days.

Timeline (Priority Application):
Online application submission: 06 July
Document Submission & Biometrics (no interview): 10 July
TLSContact Says the documents have been transferred to UKVI: 11 July
TLSContact tracking shows the application was received by UKVI: 12 July
Email from Sheffield saying that my application has been received and is being prepared for consideration: 12 July

I suppose it is possible that they have chosen not to interview us? Or will we likely get invited in on a different date to sit for an interview?
Hi! Did you get your visa yet?

I am exactly in the same situation.
Priority application from Lima.

Timeline (Priority Application):
Online application submission: 01 July
Document Submission & Biometrics (no interview): 10 July
Email from Sheffield saying that my application has been received and is being prepared for consideration: 12 July
Uni notification that my CAS is now marked as USED by Home Office: 16 July

No further news since then.

Let me know about any updates pls!!
I'm in the same situation at the moment. My uni told me that they used my CAS on July 16. On July 17, I called UKVI and they told me that a decision had been made, and that I now need to wait for my documents to be returned. I have received no email from UKVI confirming that a decision has been made, however, and the processing center's tracking does not show the decision as having been made yet, either.
I got an email yesterday saying that my passport is ready for pickup. I will pick it up Monday, since VSF is closed today. Fingers crossed that it has the right stamp.

My overall timeline was as follows (Priority Application):

Online application submission: 01 July
Document Submission & Biometrics (no interview): 10 July
Email from Sheffield saying that my application has been received and is being prepared for consideration: 12 July
Uni notified CAS has been used: 16 July
Called UKVI and was told that a decision has been made: 19 July (morning)
E-mail from VFS saying passport is ready for collection: 19 July (evening)

No email or communication from UKVI or VFS about ECO being assigned or decision being made.

Good luck everyone!

Hello,
Yes, I used that number. Keep calling until someone picks the call. The service is 24/24H (I'm not sure about weekends), so you don't have to wait a specific time to call.
Good luck!
