You are permitted to post official HO email addresses! Not sure why you removed it after posting it.PPTP wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 4:45 pmI have complained, sent letters - no results. They are lazy. I have been already told not to contact them and ILR has not limits, complained to my MP about their reply and behaviour, awaiting reply)))
Email address: it takes some time for them to input the application into system. Wait for 15 days
Sorry CR001. Saw your email and thought better to remove. If that's ok they send emails from hocommunications @ communications.homeoffice.gov.ukCR001 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 4:53 pmYou are permitted to post official HO email addresses! Hello, even though I didn't apply via a solicitor...I applied in mid May. I received an email in June and July, and I received my ILR last week. The entire process took approximately 2.5 months.da09aam wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 3:37 pmHi all,
Has anyone applied for their ILR through a solicitor?
I applied for mine in May through a solicitor and still waiting. I have received a couple of emails from HO and done my biometrics.
Can someone who applied during the same time share their experience?
Many thanks for your help
I do not understand why you applied 2 days before the expiry day of your Leave to remain , you could have applied 24th April, you may have saved some time then , but i think as it is a family of 6 that might delay the process a bit , applying by yourself might be quicker then using solicitor( just my opinion as i applied by myself and my family )..Mahdis wrote: ↑Wed Aug 08, 2018 12:00 amHi ,
I applied for ILR through solicitor for Me and family of 5 ! Application submitted on 22nd May 2018 ( expiry 24th May) . Biomitic recieved and done on 5th June 2018 . Got a letter from solicitor saying just have to wait ! No news as of today ! Best of luck for everyone !
I did submit papers to solicitors but apparently they were so busy that applied 2 days before expiry ! The application is very straightforward but had some doubts about my daughter who is born here plus the extra sheet for other family members ! Let’s see when it’s going to be done !Love_GB wrote: ↑Wed Aug 08, 2018 7:57 amMahdis wrote: ↑Wed Aug 08, 2018 12:00 am

my leave to remain expires this month 15th and i applied 16th of last month , had the finger prints done and got an email from them saying my application is being considered, but it might take a while for family members,
we only wish for the best and hope for the good news
Let’s hope we are lucky to get a fit young case worker who is full of energy ! I don’t see any other reason for sooner or later reply !da09aam wrote: ↑Wed Aug 08, 2018 9:38 am@Mahdis I applied and done my biometrics around the same time as you. All the best and keep us posted!
@love_GB I applied through a solicitor for myself only and I fear it can be delayed cause of the much paperwork the solicitor enclosed such as payslips, bills etc.. was very straightforward and should’ve done it myself. I’m sure we will all hear from them soon anyways. Best of luck
Hi PPTP that's quite strange hardly heard of anyone set p application being delayed was there anything related to your application that's might effect it like obtaining country of origin passport or anything that might effect ILR but anyway will hope you 'll get it soon as the waiting is really hard I can understand. Good luck with your application though.
This is not matter of waiting, this is matter of stupidity and the efficiency how they work. they did not provide any reason at all, we need to use to it. Home Office never provide anything and never explains their actions.
That is really frustrating , did you mention any other reasons on section 5;
that is really quick ,
