More than 6 months has passed but no responses from them. (Never received a status update email either.)

Contacted HO and complained (through solicitor) : 20/3/2019
(HO staff on the phone said the case will be escalated and we should hear from them within 5 working days.)

Since there is no guarantee that HO returns my passport and BRP this week, now I have to cancel my business travel that has been scheduled next week. This affects the business significantly.

Below is the timeline of my Tier 2 Gen. ILR application

Documents submission - 08/03/2019 @Premium Lounge London @9:30am
Email received from the Visa Officer - 08/03/2019 @4:30pm (this was about Dependents who were present on the previous application of grant of leave as tier 2 gen.)
Responded to the email - 08/03/2019 @ 4:40pm

Then UKVI went on silent mode as I have seen for other members

13/03/2019
Contacted UKVI and tried to escalate, Adviser on the phone mentioned, that wait till Friday (i.e. 15/03/2019) and if you dont see anything in the post then come back to us an we will escalate this. Because, not all case workers send the email, some of them only send the letter.

20/03/2019
I waited longer than suggested and then on Wednesday contacted UKVI again, this time lady over the phone took my details and escalated the case for me.

21/03/2019
received a very generic email for UKVI contact center acknowledging the escalation (automated email)

21/03/2019
Around mid day, my status on the Prove your work site got changed (You have no limit on how long yo can stay in UK)

Did receive the approval letter from UKVI

Hi,

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone especially CR001, this site has been a great help.

I applied through super priority for ILR.
Eligibility period calculated from the date of receiving the first VISA/Leave to remain. Although there was a gap of 40 days before entering the UK.

Submitted Biometric on Monday 25th March (11:30 - took 25 min once called in)
Received email of acceptance next day -26th March (9:30)
Received ILR in post on 28th March (11:00)
