1. Are there any benefits to wait for my British Citizenship and then get married?
She needs ILR which takes 5 years. To apply under Section 6(2) of the Nationality (spouse of British citizen), it requires 3 years residence AND holding ILR (more difficult to change nationality laws than immigration rules. This 3 year Citizenship law goes back to before July 2012 when spouse visas were issued for 2 years and then 1 year ILR).2. I have been hearing that she will be eligible for her ILR after 5 years if we get married while I hold ILR and 3 years if I am a British Citizen. Is this valid? I did not see any information about 3 years ILR on gov.uk site.
Spouse Settlement visa.3. What is the exact name of dependant visa I will need to apply.
