You can still meet the financial requirement because any period of unpaid sick leave during the last 12 months would be discounted. For instance if you relying on category A and got unpaid sick leave for 1 week then you will have to show the income for the last 6 months and 1 week.Mohammed amin wrote: ↑Sun Apr 21, 2019 4:59 pmHi everyone. I have a simple question that i couldn't get a satisfactory answer. so i thought you guys might help. I work as a bus driver i work 39 hours a week and my annual income before tax is £19700. I got married in Bangladesh on December 17th 2019 and i came back from Bangladesh on 1st of February, i started work on 3rd of February but i got sick and i had to come back from work, on that same day. And I've been off from work for another 2 days, we don't get sick pay for first 3 days so i didn't get any sick pay or any wage for first week of February( as i get paid weekly). Now my question is can i apply for my wife after 26 week/6month including the week i didn't get paid? I can get doctors letter and everything. Some people says i should cancel the whole month of February and start counting from march. Please clarify. Thank you in advance.
