Sick leave from work.

Hi everyone. I have a simple question that i couldn't get a satisfactory answer. so i thought you guys might help. I work as a bus driver i work 39 hours a week and my annual income before tax is £19700. I got married in Bangladesh on December 17th 2019 and i came back from Bangladesh on 1st of February, i started work on 3rd of February but i got sick and i had to come back from work, on that same day. And I've been off from work for another 2 days, we don't get sick pay for first 3 days so i didn't get any sick pay or any wage for first week of February( as i get paid weekly). Now my question is can i apply for my wife after 26 week/6month including the week i didn't get paid? I can get doctors letter and everything. Some people says i should cancel the whole month of February and start counting from march. Please clarify. Thank you in advance.

You can still meet the financial requirement because any period of unpaid sick leave during the last 12 months would be discounted. For instance if you relying on category A and got unpaid sick leave for 1 week then you will have to show the income for the last 6 months and 1 week.
