Low priority applicants:
• 3C leave or no obvious safeguarding / destitution issues
Assessing priority for biometric reuse
Possibly the IDV biometrics are at low priority thats why decisions are delayed via IDV route.

A quick question. After UKVI application and UKVCAS documents submission, does UKVI see the documents? Or only after biometric submission, everything will be forwarded and viewable by UKVI?

Dont think thats correct as its clearly states high priority applications can be reuse or new biometrics.
All applicants assessed by the Central Vulnerable Triage Team as meeting the high
priority criteria will either have previously enrolled biometrics used to complete their
application or be invited to attend a Service and Support Centre to enrol their
biometrics

Hi all. I finally submitted my biometrics in person last week. What is the best way to check the latest status of the application? I've seen other members mention the Right to Work check.

I agree with @gk777, reading through the document, looks like 3C refers to a type of applicant not the type of biometric appointments applicants have undergone.

Once you submit your documents via UKVCAS even before biometrics, they will be submitted to UKVI right away.

I havent got my ILR BRP yet but if i put my recent biometric, i am getting a message that

Details
They can work in any job. There is no limit on how long they can stay in the UK.

This means my ILR status is getting reflected right ?

What do you mean by recent biometric? Does your BRP number change when you switch into a different route?

I dont know if the number changes from T2G to ILR or not, but from T2G to another T2G it surely changes.

So what i did is it put my existing T2G BRP number and checked and i got the above message. I am yet to receive my ILR BRP..

So to check the Right to Work one can use the old BRP number regardless if this will change in the new BRP or not?

@Prince115

A similar situation as yours which may help you decide.
Post by tier21419 » Tue Sep 22, 2020 2:48 pm

I applied on 1/07/2020, and was eligible for biometric reuse. receieved invitation and submitted biometrics via IDV app on 28/08/2020.
Looking at the trend on this forum, I was tempted to book in person appointment. This thought of booking in person appointment came to mind so many times, but at the same I was reluctant to book one as well. Last night, while checking for a free appointment, I managed to book one (for 5/10), but again was thinking that this might complicate things e.g. ukvi might be thinking that as I am due to attend an appointment so they might not make a decision on my application (even though they have my biometrics/pic via IDV app). So after these thoughts, I imediately cancelled my free appointment :/
Luckily, I have now received my decision this afternoon. so relieved. so just to confirm, the process involving IDV app is working.

Hi all. Due to unforeseen circumstances I missed my train and now will be 15 minutes late for my appointment. I DM’d UKVCAS and they cannot say if I will be let in.
Anyone know what usually happens if an applicant is late?
Thanks

Just a suggestion that might help with tracking - could all the people posting about not having received IDV app or biometrics appointment invitations for pre 11 Sept. applications also post whether they have applied through solicitors? There have been issues seen with applicants who have applied through solicitors that have reportedly been ironed out by UKVCAS, so posting that info will probably help with tracking whether it is still a persistent issue.
Mine is through a solicitor, applied on the 18th of August, SET(O), T2G to ILR. Solicitor still has not received an appointment e-mail or IDV usage e-mail.

Thanks to everyone on this forum (special mention to Cullinan)
This is my timeline:

Application Type: T2G
Applying from: UK
Submitted through: Solicitor (unfortunately - company rules)
Application date: 17-July-2020
Received caseworker email asking for scanned documents and sharing standard Covid delay notification: 12-Aug-2020. Solicitor replied on the same day with documents.

No email or invitation to book appointment since then.

Solicitor is adamant that application is fully submitted and there is no action other than to wait for email on further steps once UKVI has reached at our application. I asked him categorically if he has completed the steps, to which he had replied in the affirmative that he has completed all steps. He has declined all requests to follow up with UKVI/UKVCAS citing hundreds of thousands of application are in the same bucket and that he has applicants from May still awaiting further communication.

Current status (22-Sep-2020): Waiting for email on further steps.

I applied for ILR via Tier 2 General (5 year) route including 3 dependants on 3rd August, 2020, via solicitor.
Received delay email on 8th Sept. The solicitor has been stressing that we need to wait for the invitation for biometrics, however, nothing arrived so far. Today, the solicitor told me that he can now book the appointment but there is nothing available.
I now have the login details from him to see my UKVCAS appointment but there is nothing available apparently in the entire UK. Is anyone in the same situation?
