Its a long wait for everyone nowadays.
I submitted my application May 28 got email asking to email docs on June 9 got another email on July 16 acknowledging receipt of all docs then another email on August 19 for biometrics, which I booked and attended the next day. I’m now awaiting a decision.
My acknowledgment email says decision should take 8 weeks from biometrics appointment.
With Covid who knows how long it’ll take but yeah the wait is crazy but you’re going to have to wait for them to contact you unfortunately Hope my timeline helps give you an idea x

I applied for my second flr(fp) renewal on Febuary 31st Jan 2020 and did my biometrics finger print on the 3rd of Febuary 2020. I also paid for document scanning & uploading services at Croydon office and the gentleman who did the uploading of documents told me everything has been uploaded to homeoffice. I have been waiting for 7 months now without no decision or any form of contact from homeoffce. Do anyone here know of the email address to contact them? I have searched online but could't find anything.

My timeline is as follows:

Application update
Flr fp 10 year private life route
Extension (2nd renewal)
Application submitted online on: 31 Jan 2020 (Online application)
Biometrics done at Croydon: 3rd of Febuary 2020
Called homeoffice on: 20th July 2020 (The Lady said is not yet upto six months)

I am really getting worried now 'cause i can see people in this forum who applied long after i did, already granted .

Yes, i phoned HO and someone escalated my query. I received an email couple of days latter that they are still working on the case and the case worker will write to me once a decision is made.

I am just baffled, considering this is my second renewal and my circumstances has n't changed in any way.

Thank you for getting in touch, I just saw this. I just posted a little bit of my story few minutes ago mine is a first FLR FP application though. I think a lot of people who applied before lockdown are most affected by the wait. I hope you get it approved soon

Hi, I haven’t received the email so no update yet. How about you? What type of application you applied? I applied Appendix FM parent route. I heard if I can book appointment depends on the type of visa I applied and it seems the one I applied still has to wait.

Have anyone received invitation from UKVCAS recently?Their website said from 21st of September will be open to make appointment, but I submitted my FLR FP application end of August, so can I make a appointment as well from next Monday?

Has anyone been granted lately and what was your rime line please ?

Home office do say 6-8weeks but because home office is not fully opened cos of the covid19. They said we have to wait for 6months. Such a long wait.

Me and my husband got visa 10 year route on the basis of our children spent 7 years here .now we want to apply for our children want to know can we do online Or by post what’s best option ? But I can’t find form to print out it’s just take me to online form .how long will it take? as our descision is already taken we got our brps just need to apply for our children as we cudnt pay fees altogether bcaz of financial difficulties.
One more thing can we switch to 5 year route on our next extension? What are the requirements?

FLR FP September 2020

I have been reading on this forum and it’s very helpful.
My application time line is,

Applied Online and paid fees 21.03.2020
Ukvas Appointment booked 14.04.2020
Ukvas appointment cancelled 26.03.2020
Cancelled due to covid19.

Received email from home office,
Asked me to email all supportive
documents.
Documents emailed. 11.05.2020

A week later received a call from
HO. Asked me if I wanted to
apply Asylum. I said, No. No idea, why’d they ask me.
Now it’s been almost 4 months and still no reply. They said 6-8 weeks.

Please tell me if anyone of you waiting for that long. Much appreciated.

You cannot email your documents if you have not specifically been asked to do so by a caseworker.

As already explained in your own topic you have, you need to upload your documents to the ukcvas portal!

You can’t send them your supporting documents on your own. You have to wait for email.

Have you booked about for biometrics?

to be honest they can decide it without biometrics because they done it to me without biometrics and without deducting the fees from my bank. and when I went for reporting so same day they gave me refusal letter and ticket to go back that was the horrible day I was detained

Check the rules friend. There's many posts that cover it so from the approval of your last visa 6 pieces of correspondence from at least 3 sources. Just space them out. I submitted x 3 council tax, x3 water bill (as it's yearly) and then my utility/gas bills say every 4 months.

Hello, I applied for my partner the same day as you on 18. Of August still we haven’t heard nothing yet.
It is his 3rd application. I can see people that applied after him could use the IDV app or can book an appointment but not him. Hope they will send an email soon.

Thanks to my solisitor from charity and all people who helped.
After refusal letter on 27 April 2020 under pre-settled status EU Settlement as primary carer of British child.
I apllied for fee waiver, which was granted.
With help from charity solisitor 2 application made 12 June 2020 under
1. EEA regulations as Zambrano carer, biometrics 24 June 2020.
2. Under Family law on 10 years route, biometrics 24 July 2020.
COA received after request 7th September, confirming right to work.
21 September email received with granted Right to remain with access to public funds, and refusal for Zanbrano application with right to appeal.
Passport returned with document 26.09.2020
BRP card received 28.09.2020
Facing homeless again when my daughter turn 18 this Friday, looking for work and trying to avoing to access to public funds.
When you know what you doing something right for your child, its always will have big road.
I wish to every one have sucess and stay safe with their families.
