I don't understand about you asking if you can come back to the UK on the claiming benenfits board. Is this about claimaing benefits? Or about being allowed back in the UK?xavior20 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 10, 2020 11:42 pmHi there,
I have held my ILR for about a year and a half.
I have claimed UC for the last 8 months and have been working part-time for the last 3 months.
I'm thinking about leaving the country for about 6 months to visit my family back home.
Whilst I'm gone, I would not claim any benefit. (ill ask them to stop paying me while I'm not in the UK)
All my travelling cost is paid for by my parents.
All my tides in the UK is my partner and a car I owned.
My question is, Will I be able to come back to the UK without any problem?
Thanks in advance
If you have a valid ILR, then you are allowed to claim benefits.
No, it will not stop you. You were assessed and confirmed to be qualified (excluding any deception and or fraud) hence why you get paid UC. Why would you feel it could pose a problem to your reentry admittance?
Don't over think/over read the guidance as you will be alright. Enjoy your holidays.
