Atlas team contact email?

Post by AyAyAre » Mon Apr 26, 2021 4:41 pm

Hi all, I've received the same suggestion from home.office.atlas@notifications.service.gov.uk, also saying "If you chose to continue with the ILR SET(M) application or you do not reply within 14 days of the date of this letter, your application will then be considered using the criteria laid down in Appendix FM."

However, I'm desperate to know how to reply back if I prefer just to retract my ILR SET(M) application. I don't seem to have option to apply for SET(O) (switched to Family Route just about year ago after 4 years on PBS dependant) and wrongly applied to ILR SET(M).

Is there a way to contact them?

Many thanks!

You don't qualify for ilr. If you switched to FLR M a year ago,you have to wait another 4 years before you can apply for ilr on set m.

You cannot combine time as a PBS dependent and FLR M spouse visa to make up 5 years for ilr.

Thank you. Yes, unfortunately I became aware of that I don't qualify only after I've submitted my ILR SET(M) application. When I received the same response as the topic starter, I realised that I don't really have any other route to apply to, but I'd rather retract my supposedly invalid ILR SET(M) application and continue staying on my current FLR M spouse visa until it's time to extend it.

I'm worried that I cannot find a way to contact UKVI to ask if this ILR SET(M) could be retracted so I don't get a refusal on ILR application. Can you please advise?

Many thanks. Does this form work when the application and the documents were submitted digitally, i.e. no physical documents were sent?

Also the caseworker indicated a refund fee will be processed. Would applying via above form advise the UKVI that I wish a refund to be processed?

As per the original correspondence:
"If you chose to continue with the ILR SET(M) application or you do not reply within 14 days of the date of this letter, your application will then be considered using the criteria laid down in Appendix FM."
I'm clearly expected to reply. I'm intending to reply asking to retract the wrong application and to process a refund, but I'm just really not sure where to send this reply to.

There is no other way to submit documents. You do not reply to anything and there is no place to send a reply. Withdraw the application as instructed. You may not get a refund

Zimba, CR001 many thanks for your quick replies. When reading about other cases on the forum (which itself is a massive help!), I understood that when submitting a withdrawal form I'm going to need to confirm that I understand that I'll not get a refund and that it's recommended to make a screenshot of the final form page as evidence of submitted withdrawal.

It also seems that there could be an alternative way to stop my incorrect ILR SET(M) from being processed further:
From reading the forum and gov.uk documents about variation of application, do I understand correctly if I submit another FLR M application right now that it would be considered as a variation of the original ILR SET(M) application therefore stopping ILR SET(M) from being processed at all?

Yes. You can alternatively apply for a variation of leave. You must pay all the fees including the IHS

Just a quick update: I've requested a withdrawal of application at https://eforms.homeoffice.gov.uk/outrea ... ments.ofml in few days after posting here and have just received full refund. No further communication or reply from UKVI yet though.

Additionally, even before I came to know about the withdrawal form, I've emailed to both admin reviews (asking to forward my reply to the case working team) and complaints (requesting to withdraw the application and process a refund) as advised by the call centre. Admin reviews team has replied confirming that they don't deal with anything related to ILR SET(M) but forwarded the request to relevant team which is very kind of them.

Thank you all again for your help!
