Hi,baljitsingh197701 wrote: ↑Tue May 27, 2025 10:48 amWhen i click on "Make arrangements to provide your documents and biometrics" then clicks on "Book your appointment" it takes me to VFS (https://atlantis-abs-uk.vfsglobal.com/handshake/landing ) which i believe is application submitting outside the UK. However, I am in the UK and not in India and whilst filling the application I said I am in the UK.
I called this morning home office general number, and they said it's a common problem and they asked me to send email to Nationality.biometric@homeoffice.co.uk and it can up to 21 days for them to come back or correct.
Nothing happens. Why would it affect your next application??Thanks, will do, but also what will happen if I cancel my current application? will this impact my next application which i going to fill in fresh?
No!Let's say i cancel the current application and fill the new one do i need to put current cancelled application details in new application?
I called them again today and they said refunds takes up to 6 weeks, and if after 6 weeks money doesn't refund i can call them.contorted_svy wrote: ↑Thu May 29, 2025 6:55 amWe don't know how long refunds take. They don't have a clear policy laid out. You still have 45 days to attend an appointment, so you may be able to sort it without having to cancel the application and apply again.
Yes, it's been 10 days when i first emailed them and as per their auto response "Whilst we aim to respond to all emails within 7-10 working days, due to unprecedented demand, we may not be able to respond to your enquiry within this timeframe."contorted_svy wrote: ↑Tue Jun 03, 2025 7:56 amUnfortunately their replies are not always timely and I haven't seen a consistent pattern. I haven't seen many cases like yours specifically but as things are you have done everything you can.
