For previous earnings, you need to show evidence from two different sources. The payslips and final settlement statement are from the same source,i.e., your ex-employer. Thus, you will need to show a corresponding entry via bank statements. I suggest that you push your ex-employer to have this credited in your bank account asap.ramaharishg wrote:Hi,
I am planning to apply for Tier 1(General) Visa next month. I have a problem with respect to my earnings. I quit my job and left after serving 2 months notice period. However I have not yet received the final settlement (including the two months notice period salary and some other allowances etc) credit in my bank account (my salary is credited directly to bank). Can I claim these earnings for my earnings points.
I have the payslips & final settlement statement and I can get a letter from my previous employer saying that this amount is due to me from the company.
Can I claim these earnings even though I have no bank credit to show for it?
Thanks.

I have another query - Will it be a problem if the credit in the bank account is after a few months after the salary is earned as I will be getting the salary credited 4-5 months after.
