thanks for you post
as i stated on my first post i have been in UK 15 years and i had my ILR in 1998 , so i could have applied for citizenship 11 years ago , but i did not
so i did send an application last month on 5 JAN 2010 , and the HO received it on 11 JAN 2010
i did call them friday 5 FEB 2010 and the lady i spoke to did not say the application is under consideration or any thing , she only said : between 3 and 6 months
brothers has any one have a logical explanation to this ?as from the voice of the lady i smelt some sort of bad news
Thanks to you all and CONGRATULATION TO those who got the good news

thanks JOELONDON for your support and i hope we all hear some good news soon
by the way when did you send your application
VRM wrote:London102: My understanding of the UKBA rules is that you have to take your citizenship ceremony within 90 days of the receipt of your approval letter. Check out the follwing website:
http://www.bia.homeoffice.gov.uk/britis ... /ceremony/
It looks like the Council will keep your certificate for 90 days, but given that you want to go away for 3 months, you may be cutting it too fine.

I also sent my application on 5 JAN 2009 via NCS and have not hear any thing yet , i phone the HO and all they told me is : it takes between 3 and 6 months
VRM, I didnt get anything from the NCS.VRM wrote:Gainvidya: Your NCS recepit should have the Royal Mail reference number (13 digit code). You can track delivery of your letter at the following Royal Mail website:
http://track.royalmail.com/portal/rm/tr ... gear=track
It should normally reach the Home Office in 2 days.
