Switching from Tier4 to unmarried partners

Post by shekel » Tue Jun 22, 2010 10:29 am

My GF is on tier4 visa in the uk. I was wondering if anyone has an experience of switching from tier4 to unmarried partner visa, and if anyone can advise on the procedure/success chances.

If you meet all the criteria it will be successful. Make sure your gf gets a letter proving that she is attending her uni/college regularly (they want to see this). Otherwise just follow the form.

Check out the flr(m) form and its guidance notes. That's used for unmarried partners.

Yes there is a list. There's a checklist at the end of the form for you to check off and make sure you have included the proper documents. Please read carefully as there are no tricks, it's very straight forward.
