Could you just clarify where the job is though please as Dorset and London are two different areas of the country and are a couple of hours and a good 100 miles apart. The cost of living between the two places does differ too.
The average salary in the UK is £25k. London is a very expensive city to live in, and to try to live with the salary you have been offered, requires a lot of discipline and budgeting. Keep in mind there are people earning even less than that.siv123 wrote:Dear everyone,
I have been offered a job in UK with a annual salary between 18-25K. This Job is in Dorset, London. I don't have any experience of living in UK. Do you think it is enough to survive in UK?. My spouse might not be able to get any job right away. Please give me some advice. Your reply will be highly appreciated.
Siv.
Plenty of people survive on less. i would suggest you look around at properties in your chosen area to see how much rent is likely to be on this website:siv123 wrote:If I choose to live in Dorset will 25K be enough then?
Well, it is a huge difference between Dorset and London. With £25k you should be bringing home around £1600 after tax and able to have a quid to spare, once all bills are paid for.siv123 wrote:If I choose to live in Dorset will 25K be enough then?
